The team at Artarmon Musuculoskeletal & Laser physiotherapy is highly experienced, providing high quality treatment to meet your goals.
Dr Ann Liebert (Principal)
Ann is the Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at University of Sydney. She is also the Director of Photomolecular Research at the Australasian Research Institute. In addition to extensive manipulative physiotherapy expertise, Ann completed her PhD studying the mechanisms of laser adding to the growing body of medical evidence for the use of laser to treat many pain conditions. Ann plans to continue her research this year which will include clinical and laboratory trials whilst remaining at Artarmon Physiotherapy two days a week. She will continue her work with complex spinal pain and headaches in children and elders, TMJ pain as well as serving the Artarmon community physiotherapy needs as she has for 25 years. Ann is also treating out of the Sydney Adventist Hospital. |
Delena Caagbay
Delena has extensive experience working as a physiotherapist in private practice settings with varied caseloads. She has specialized in women’s health including pre and postnatal wellbeing and pelvic floor disorders. Her PhD explores conservative strategies for Nepali women who have a symptomatic pelvic organ prolapse and face challenges in accessing health services. Delena provides holistic physiotherapy treatment including manual therapy, dry needling, education and exercise prescriptions. She is accredited in low level laser therapy with special interest in the application for pelvic pain. |
Allan Manuel
Allan graduated as a physiotherapist from Sydney University in 2010 and has extensive clinical practice across a range of settings. Allan has experience working alongside high-level athletes, treating occupational injuries and complex shoulder problems. Allan has completed courses for low level laser therapy. Allan has learnt from some amazing mentors throughout the years and is keen to apply his knowledge to Artarmon Physiotherapy. |
Cayla Attwater
Cayla joined the practice in 2019 having graduated as a physiotherapist from the Australian Catholic University in 2017. Since graduating she has worked at St Vincent’s Hospital and a number of sports clubs gaining invaluable hands on experience. Cayla has a keen interest in sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Cayla’s passion for professional development has seen her complete training in Low Level Laser Therapy, Dry Needling and Clinical Pilates and is thrilled to expand and apply her knowledge as part of the team at Artarmon Physiotherapy. |
Georgia Geldens
Georgia graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Specialising in women’s health Georgia has training in treating common women’s health pelvic floor conditions such as prolapse, overactive bladder, stress urinary incontinence and urge urinary incontinence. She is particularly interested in and enjoys treating pre and post natal women with pregnancy related pain and for pre and post natal pelvic floor assessments. Georgia uses a combination of soft tissue massage and joint mobilisation, dry needling, taping, craniosacral techniques, functional exercise prescription modalities and pilates in her treatments. |
Bruno Gragnani
Bruno graduated as a physiotherapist in Brazil in 2010, specialising in sports rehabilitation. Bruno gained his general physiotherapy registration in Australia in 2019. He has experience working in both a hospital setting and private clinic in Brazil, and after working in multiple hospitals in Australia is looking forward to working alongside the experienced Physiotherapists at Artarmon. Bruno has a great knowledge in treating sports injuries and orthopaedic issues, using biomechanics assessment, manual therapy, and exercises, alongside having an interest in electro and low-level laser in pain relief and performance enhancement. |
Reece Hagan
Reece is now working as both the practice manager and part time remedial massage therapist. Reece shows a great interest in treating both sports injuries and postural related muscle discomfort. He uses remedial techniques such as deep tissue massage, cupping, trigger point and myofascial release. Reece completed his Diploma in Remedial Massage in 2019 and will be health fund approved in February 2020. |
