Do I need a referral?
A referral for physiotherapy treatment is not required unless you have been injured at work and are claiming through Workcover, are a Veterans Affairs patient, or are under a GP Medicare plan.
Do you accept EPC claims?
Yes, however we cannot bulk bill Medicare directly. We must take the total treatment cost payment in full after the session, and can process the rebate of $53.80 via our HICAPS machine. Alternatively you claim manually by taking a paid invoice into a Medicare branch. We require you to bring the necessary EPC forms from your GP prior to or on the day of your appointment.
Do you accept CTP and Worker’s Compensation claims?
If you are planning on claiming your injury through an insurance company then it is advisable to see your GP to get a referral as this makes claim management easier.If you already have a claim number please bring this and details of your insurer to your initial appointment.
Will my private health fund pay a rebate for my treatment?
Yes, most private health funds pay a rebate for each physiotherapy sessions. You will need to pay is the “gap” fee which will varies depending upon your health fund, your level of cover and the amount of treatment you receive.
Do you have HICAPS facilities?
Yes we have the relevant facilities in our rooms- bring along your health fund card to your appointment as we have the system to arrange direct funds transfer of your rebate saving you a trip to your health fund.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Private patients need to settle their accounts at the end of each treatment session. We accept EFTPOS, Visa/Mastercard payments, cash and cheques.
What do I need to bring to my first session?
It is advisable to bring along any x-rays and scan results that you may already have had taken, your private health fund card and form of payment
Is there parking?
Yes there is two hour free parking in Hampden Lane which is parallel to Hampden Road.
